SYNOPSIS


Led by West End Performer, Danielle Cato, KLSD presents our Strictly Themed Dance Workshop!

The strictly workshop will include some basic Latin class work to start and then learning some choreographer from the opening number of Strictly Ballroom ‘Tequila’. We will then learn the basic Waltz step and frame.

This workshop is aimed at children age 11+.

About Danielle Cato
Danielle began her dance training at The Royal Ballet Lower School and continued on to the Royal Ballet Upper School, changing paths due to injury. She finished her training at Laine Theare Arts where she spent two years, and gained the role of Iris Kelly in FAME in the West End on graduating! Since then she has spent 12 years successfully in musical theatre. Credits include:Fame (West End), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (UK Tour), Fame (UK Tour), We Will Rock You (West End), Grease (UK Tour), Vampirette (UK Tour), West Side Story ( UK Tour), Cats (West End/International+UK Tour), Carousel (West End), 42nd Street (West End)...Danielle was seen as a finalist  on BBC1 So You Think You Can Dance In 2018 Danielle was chosen by Dame Gillian Lynne to perform as one of 4 female Cats as her ‘Cassandra’ at the re naming of the New London Theatre to The Gillian Lynne Theatre and most recently playing Tina Sparkle opposite Kevin Clifton in Strictly Ballroom.
