What our current volunteers say:
I really love volunteering at the Angles Theatre.
All the volunteers are treated very much as part of the team and are made to feel very appreciated. I enjoy helping to make our audiences visits really enjoyable, comfortable, and safe and there is nothing nicer than them telling you, on the way out, how much they have enjoyed it and that they are looking forward to coming again. I have also had the opportunity to see a lot of really good and interesting theatre and meeting not only really friendly theatre staff, but also lovely volunteers.
It's always so rewarding!
Having grown up taking advantage of the opportunities this incredible theatre provides, it is so rewarding being able to give back. You get to "work" with fun, creative and theatre loving people just like yourself, get involved with the community, build skillsets, and see some shows too! Volunteering with the Angles Theatre is enjoyable and inspiring!
I've learnt so much and built my confidence
Everyone at the Angles Theatre is so supportive and has helped me grow my skills in so many areas, in such an encouraging and inspiring way. The training you do, in whichever area you're working in, is always so detailed and thorough. So whilst I'm liaising with the public, I always feel like I know exactly how to handle a situation with confidence and in a friendly customer-focussed way. I couldn't recommend it more, give it a go!
In addition to our annual events, and volunteer roles, we’re always looking for support with one-off projects. We have a long list of things we’d love to get done - click the dropdown to view current and upcoming projects.
