Covid 19 policy

Covid-19 Policy

‘See it safely’ is an industry wide accreditation developed to ensure compliance, so you can feel confident and safe knowing that the venue is COVID-secure and will be adhering to the latest government and performing arts guidance.

How will tickets work?

There will be no handling of tickets by theatre staff, instead our staff will simply ask to visually check your tickets. Customers can also produce E-Tickets or print their own ticket. We hope this will minimise time you may have to queue and reduce contact with front of house teams.

Will I need to wear a face covering?

In line with government guidance with regards to face covering indoors, we strongly recommend that you continue to wear face coverings out of respect for fellow audience members, staff and our companies when coming into our theatres and especially when moving around the theatre. If you are exempt from wearing a face covering it would help our front of house staff and fellow audience members if you wear an exemption lanyard.

Will refreshments be available?

The bar will be open throughout the show, however there will be a one-way queuing system in place.

We will ensure that we have a wide range of snacks as well as alcoholic / non-alcoholic drink options available. We would strongly encourage all customers to pre order interval drinks.

Interval refreshments

Orders can be placed at the bar and drinks will be prepared by the interval and you will be advised on collection point at designated areas in the bar.

What else are we doing?

The theatre will continue with its enhance cleaning regime and regularly disinfecting areas. We would strongly encourage customers to continue to use hand sanitiser stations when you enter and exit the theatre and when moving around the building.

Our trained staff will also be on hand to offer assistance to all customers – They will be visible and approachable.

What happens if I have Covid and can’t use my ticket?

You can book with confidence knowing that if we are required by COVID-19 government guidance or restrictions to cancel or postpone a performance, you will be offered a refund, credit or exchange to another performance.

In addition, tickets can be refunded or exchanged up to 24 hours before a performance for reasons highlighted below.

You should not attend the venue if you:

Please check the latest Covid advice and restrictions before you attend, including any additional measures that may apply if you or a member of your household bubble is vulnerable to Covid-19.

We will collect contact data about each ticket booker in line with our Privacy Policy. We may need to share your contact details with NHS Test and Trace, if they require.

Please be aware that if you require a refund due to not being able to attend because of having Covid, we are entitled to request proof of a positive test before issuing the refund.
