Step into the world of Les Miserables in this exciting two-hour
singing masterclass for boys aged 13–18 - 10am to 12 noon
Using some of the show’s most iconic songs, participants will explore vocal
technique, character, storytelling and ensemble singing while developing
confidence in their own voice. The workshop will look at how to create a
strong, powerful sound without forcing, how to communicate emotion through
song, and how different characters use their voices to tell the story.
With material inspired by songs such as Red and Black, Empty
Chairs at Empty Tables, Do You Hear the People Sing? and One
Day More, singers will work both as an ensemble and through individual
masterclass-style opportunities.
The session is suitable for a range of experience levels and will be
particularly supportive of changing teenage voices, helping each participant
find a healthy, confident sound that works for them.
A brilliant opportunity for young male performers who love musical theatre
and want to develop their singing, acting-through-song and performance skills.
